Who am I?
I'm a geek with a strong entrepreneurial mindset, passionate about user experience and innovation, striving to make things happen.
I wrote my first computer program in BASIC, at 9. I've been a developer ever since.
In 2006, I co-authored AJAX and PHP: Building Responsive Web Applications, one of the first and most successful Ajax books.
In 2006, I started GeekMeet in Romania, an informal and decentralized event for people involved in Technology & Internet. GeekMeet today has grown to local communities in 10 major Romanian cities and is expanding every year.
I'm a true believer in open-source. Therefore, I created jobberBase as an open-source platform for jobsites, in a time when all other platforms were paid-for solutions. jobberBase has an active community and is getting better and better.
Currently, I'm privileged to make things happen as part of an amazing team, at Lateral.
Together with Simona, my beautiful wife, we like to travel and enjoy cooking. We're quite famous for our lasagna :).
